Exciting things are happing at St. Pius X Catholic High School. In addition to being a school of academic excellence, we are modernizing our facilities. We started with our state of the art Wellness Center. We are now building a new baseball field. All of these improvements are possible because of the generosity of those that support StPX with their time, talent and treasure.

The baseball field project began more than six (6) years ago with discussions to purchase approximately four (4) acres in front of the school. Those discussions led to approvals and negotiations, ultimately ending with StPX purchasing the property outright in September 2023. Since then, we've been busy with surveys, permits, relocating 500' of 10" water line, installing storm water pipe, moving dirt, installing an irrigation system, and pouring a concrete pad for a building to house controls, concessions, facilities and provide storage. We are also building dugouts that will be sunken in the ground for better viewing, adding a net for the backstop, fencing and a spectator area. All with the intent of having our opening game March 27, 2025.

To light up night games, we are installing lights and poles. Our school theme for this year is "Be The Light." Amazingly, that was our theme prior to identifying the need to raise funds to help pay for the lights. As previously mentioned, many supporters of StPX have already contributed with their time, talent and treasure. Because of their generosity, we only need to raise $75,000 to fully fund the lights. We are kicking off the "Be The Light" Campaign to fund this light project. Our goal is to secure $75,000 by December 31, 2024.
