St. Pius X HS to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony
Event will mark the start of construction on the school’s Wellness Center
Festus, MO— On Thursday, May 23 at 11:00 AM, St. Pius X High School will hold a site blessing and groundbreaking ceremony as the kick-off for construction of the school’s new Wellness Center, the first new building for the campus since the school’s opening in 1959. The ceremony will be at the construction site, on the south lawn between the main building and Father Dalton Stadium.
The Wellness Center, slated to open Fall 2019, was made possible by a $198,898 grant from the Jefferson Memorial Foundation. The school also earned an $8,000 grant from Fenton-based Show Me Weights to use for gym equipment.
The St. Pius X community is invited to take part in the event.
