Gary Linn Edgar, Sr., 77, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away, Friday, June 7, 2024 in DeSoto, Missouri surrounded by his family. He was born November 17, 1946 in Festus, Missouri, son of Otho Glenwood Edgar and Paula Marie (Blakely) Edgar.
Gary worked as a refrigeration factory worker making parts for vending machines. When he wasn't working he enjoyed fishing, camping, shooting guns, going to Rendezvous Participant, was a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 416 but most of all he loved and cherished the time spent with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his two sons, Shawn (Sherrlyn) Otho Edgar of DeSoto, Missouri, Robert Thomas Edgar of Barnhart, Missouri, his mother, Paula Marie Edgar of DeSoto, Missouri, his two grandchildren, Em Edgar and Eli Edgar, numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Otho Glenwood Edgar, his son, Gary Linn Edgar, Jr., and his step-brother, Jack Edgar.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel.
