Linda A. Cash-Rice, 78, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Scenic Nursing and Rehab Center of Herculaneum.
Linda Ann Pashia was born on April 7, 1946, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Ralph and Cecile Pashia. Growing up in Desoto, Missouri, Linda attended St. Rose Lima Catholic Grade School and later graduated from St. Pius Catholic High School where she established lifelong friendships. It was around this time Linda was married and blessed with two children: Tammy and William.
Linda held positions at McDonnell Douglas and Prince Gardner for a short time. She worked for a time in residential cleaning and her love for children was evident during her time as a bus driver for Saint Anthony Catholic School. Linda also found joy in the beauty of nature and creativity, which was reflected in her work at a florist shop—a job she thoroughly enjoyed.
On August 29, 1992, Linda united in marriage with her beloved husband, Bruce Rice. Together, they enjoyed swimming and camping, making memories that would last a lifetime. Linda's love for travel took her to new places, while her hobbies of reading, crocheting, and various crafts kept her busy in the comfort of their home. She also enjoyed bowling in the local town league.
Linda's generosity knew no bounds. She loved to help people, whether it was through decorating, rearranging furniture, or simply lending a listening ear. Her friends were like family to her, and she cherished each relationship deeply. Linda's ability to make others feel loved and valued was one of her most remarkable traits.
Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Linda is survived by her two children: Tammy Cash and husband Donald Warren of Cuba, MO and William Cash III and wife Sharyn of Littleton, CO; two step sons, Robert Rice and wife Rebecca of O’Fallon, MO and Michael Rice and wife Stacia of Las Vegas, NV; 7 step grandchildren; two brothers, Gregory Pashia and wife Mary of Lubbock, TX and Douglas Pashia of Delta, UT; a sister, Pat Robart and husband Charles of Festus, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
